[Friends] Your Help Needed This Sunday

Greetings Everyone,

Don't forget that this Sunday, at 9:15am we will be assembling 200 Hygiene Kits for Church World Service.  We will gather in Bethany Hall and there will be some "goodies" to fuel us on.  Everyone is invited to participate and everyone is needed.

In addition to the Hygiene Kits, remember you can bring any or all parts of the Baby Kits too.  We will assemble them later in the week.  The list for Baby Kits can be found below.

Also, we have been issued a CHALLENGE to raise money for the shipping and processing fees involved in sending these kits.  One family in our congregation will MATCH UP TO $2000 !  Make your check payable to MVCC and mark it for "Kits".  What a great opportunity we have been given to totally self-fund this emergency relief!  

And, what a great way for us to do our part to help in the relief efforts of Week of Compassion and Church World Service.  See you Sunday!

Baby Kit Supplies:
6 Cloth Diapers
2 T-shirts or undershirts (6-9 mos.)
2 Washcloths
2 Gowns or Sleepers (under 12 mos.)
2 Diaper pins
1 Sweater or sweatshirt (under 12 mos.)
2 Receiving Blankets
